BAMF CAMP

Coming September 22-28, 2013

BAMF Camp Day 2

What are you doing today? Are you saying no to people? Not apologizing? Getting shit done? Caring less about what other people think?

my to do list

damn i’m already late D:

ahem, i think point #1 would be

  • DO NOT be late ._.
  • be productive and prioritize
  • say no (sometimes)

i think… that is all i can think of right now. i already started saying no and now i’m shaking my head because i did not get out of my comfort zone (which would have been to say yes this once) i guess i’m not ready for that… more WIP

This week couldn’t have come at a better time. I was starting to feel real low and just seeing everybody being Bamfy and having goals has been really helpful.

This week I want to work on saying No and being okay with saying No to people. I also want to work on making goals and sticking to those goals.

What is success? I think it is a mixture of having a flair for the thing that you are doing; knowing that it is not enough, that you have got to have hard work and a certain sense of purpose.

Bamf Camp Plans

I will…

1. Stay positive.

2. Treat every aspect of this job with enthusiasm and excitement. This is a golden opportunity and not an obligation.

3. Push myself to venture outside of my comfort zone.

4. Stop letting fear and/or laziness get in the way of my goals.

What are you working on this week? Let us know! Make a video, make a list, make anything, tag it bamf camp, and celebrate being awesome.

Bamf Camp Goal Reached

I got a job! That’s in the field of my degree!!! A theater in Cleveland has hired me as an apprentice for marketing/media. Much excitement and freaking out going on right now.

What I’ll do for BAMF camp

1. Limit the times I say ‘sorry’
2. Not compare myself to others for a whole week
3. Write the unpopular opinion fic

Might not seem much, but it’s big for me!

People still interested in BAMF Camp?

I know that a subset of people including myself have started being more conscious of doing bamfy things daily, but I didn’t want to know if people still wanted to do a “BAMF Camp” next week?

I am more than happy to share/reblog/etc people’s posts about what they try to accomplish next week. Personally I am going to up the ante and do some things I’ve been too afraid to do the past year.

That being said, however, there will be minimal to no instructions on what exactly you’re supposed to be doing next week. And I think that’s okay, because it’s up to you to make it what you want! You can try for a badge or do something on your own.

If you just want to post your own adventures on your own tumblr, feel free to tag it “bamf camp” so others can see.

Cheers to being BAMFier!
